Burdekin Salt & Minerals is a Queensland-based company exploring new, low-footprint ways to sustainably produce crystalline salt and minerals from groundwater.
We're in the early stages of assessing the commercial viability of a zero-waste brine extraction process – using bores, not big machinery – and processing it on-site using the latest in green, low-cost technology.
Our focus is on producing sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium chloride salts, as well as industrial products like sulphate of potash, stockfeed additives and pharmaceutical-grade salt.
